DAY 01: CHIANG MAI / WATERFALL / HOT SPRING / PAI TOWN

07:00 Hrs. Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to Pai Town by mountain road along picturesque scenic routes passes the several beautiful northern mountains and valleys. On the way visit to Mok Fah Waterfall, located in lush tropical forest and is extremely beautiful and pure nature and one of the highest waterfalls in Doi Suthep-Doi Pui National Park

Arrive to Pai Town; visit to World War II Memorial Bridge, This Bridge was built in 1942; at that time the Japanese troops chose Pai to be their military base.

 

Lunch served at the local restaurant

 

Continue to Tha Pai Hot Springs which the water has an average temperature of 80 degrees Celsius, relax at a stream running through the hot springs where you can bath there.

 

Depart to Pai Canyon, narrow red ridges with steep-sided valleys, both sides filled with pine and dipterocarps forests. The steep 50 meter drop either side and stunning views over the surrounding countryside are impressive.

 

Then transfer to the hotel for check in, free at leisure.

*** Your free time to Pai Walking Street; shops selling Thai handicrafts, souvenirs, antiques, clothes and hill tribe products. There are so many sidewalk stalls selling all kinds of items also food and drinks are sold. (Open 18:00-22:00 Hrs.)

DAY 02: PAI TOWN / LOD CAVE / CITY TEMPLES / MAE HONG SON

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to Santichon Village; one of the Chinese communities migrated from Yunan, China. The village showcases reproductions of traditional Chinese clay houses, and there are a few tiny shops made of mud and clay selling tea by the bag or by the pot, where they also often run tea-tasting sessions.

 

Continue to Lod Cave, one of Thailand’s most impressive which features colorful stalactites and stalagmites, where a huge cave system is once a dwelling place of pre-historic man. Experience with take the Bamboo Raft reach into the cave; explore two connected caves, with the first one being a grotto, the second one containing pre-historic paintings of deer.

Depart to Mae Hong Son town, visit Wat Jong Klang and Wat Jong Kum, magnificent Burmese style temples; there are several interesting items such as wooden figurines of human and animals depicted which means one of odd stories of former incarnations of the Buddha created by Burmese craftsmen.

 

Visit Wat Doi Klong Moo, located on a hill to the west of town, is a major provincial landmark. There are two Burmese-style Chedis. The larger one was built in 1860 while the smaller one was erected in 1874. A panoramic view of Mae Hong Son can be enjoyed from the site. Then transfer to hotel for check in and free at leisure.

DAY 03: MAE HONG SON / SHAN & CHINESE YUNAN VILLAGES / MUD SPA / BAMBOO BRIDGE

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to visit the beautiful, calm and peaceful atmosphere in Shan village Baan Ruam Thai. The village is like as “The Small House in The Big Forest”; it was managed by the Queen of Thailand. Then drive to Visit Baan Rak Thai Village, This Chinese Yunan village located on the border between Thai and Myanmar with a big lake nearby.

 

Lunch served at the local restaurant.

 

Depart to Phu Klon Country Club, well-known for Health Mud Spa which natural fantastic black mud from hot springs, one of three mud resources in the world besides Israel and Romania. Experience the facial natural black mud mask and foot onsen, which good for the skin and blood circulation system.

 

Continue to visit the Bamboo Bridge of Faith and Success; was built by villagers to serve the monks of Wat Tham Poo Sa Ma and locals of Ban Gung Mai Sak. A beautiful bridge supposes to be the longest bamboo bridge in Thailand. It spans several rice paddies that must flood in the winter and a wide stream near the temple it serves.Then transfer back to the hotel

DAY 04: MAE HONG SON / KHUN YUAM / MAE CHAEM

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to Khun Yuam Town; by mountain road along picturesque scenic routes passing the several beautiful northern mountains and valleys. Visit to Muay Tor Temple, magnificent Shan style temple; there are sacred items, such as the brass Buddha statue came from Myanmar in 1923 and the bronze one in the sermon hall, which was in Burmese artistic style. The Shan-style pagoda encircled by other pagodas, the top of the pagoda is decorated with metal-tiered umbrella surrounded by bells

 

Continue to Khun Yuam World War II Museum displays a number of items from the Japanese armies, such as dishes, spoons, weapons, samurai blades, and uniforms, altogether around 1,300 pieces, equivalent to the number on display at Kanchanaburi.

Depart to Mae Chaem Town (03 hours drive) by road along picturesque scenic routes passes the several beautiful northern mountains.

 

Arrive to Mae Chaem Town; visit to Buddha-En Temple was built in the year 1868. This temple contains an ancient teak monastery which possess of Shan-style wall paintings. The pagoda contains Buddha's relics inside and of which the base is decorated with 12 Lanna-style zodiacs.

Then transfer to the hotel for check in and free at leisure.

DAY 05: MAE CHAEM / DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK / CHIANG MAI

08:00 Hrs. Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to Doi Inthanon National Park, which the Thailand's highest mountain (2,565 meters above sea level) offers beautiful scenery, evergreen mountain forests, dwarf rhododendron groves, rare bird life, and impressive waterfalls.

Visit to the Summit and short trek along Angka Nature Trail; explore and feel the beauty and the unforgettable nature around. Continue to the great Twin Royal Pagodas, which were built for His Majesty the King and Her Royal Highness the Queen of Thailand. This place provides a marvelous view of its surrounding.

 

Lunch served at the local restaurant.

 

Start Trekking downhill to Karen Hill Tribe Village about 1½-2 hours passing through natural trails. You will see variety of nature such as: some rare birds, insects, step rice field, wild orchid, coffee plantation, rain forest and Pha Dok Seaw Waterfall. Enjoy a cup of Pure Arabica coffee from Karen people and you also can buy some coffee beans from here.

Then transfer to hotel for check in and free at leisure.

Meal: Lunch (5)

DAY 06: CHIANG MAI / DEPARTURE

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for flight to next destination.
