Pick up from hotel lobby and depart to the Statue of Kruba Srivichai at the foot of Suthep Mountain. Experience the gentle way of Chiang Mai Buddhist people’s life; take part in a daily Buddhist ceremony Tak Batr or merit making by giving food and other daily items to monks on their alms-rounds. Continue to Pha Lat Temple; it’s one of the most peaceful and enchanting places in the middle of the forest, it features magical temple grounds including a waterfall, forest paths and stunning views of the city.
Proceed to Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple, one of northern Thailand's most sacred temples built in the year 1383. It is located 1,050 meters above sea level. See the marvelous golden pagoda, which is containing the holy relics of Lord Buddha.
Enjoy the panoramic view of Chiang Mai City and Ping valley from the summit of Suthep Mountain. Phrathat Doi Suthep Temple can be approached on foot by climbing 306 steep stairs, flanked by tremendous mythical Nagas, which symbolizes humanity's progress from earth to nirvana.
Then transfer back to the hotel.
