Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel lobby and depart to Doi Tung, the highest mountain peak on the Thai-Myanmar border at 2,000 metres above sea level. Once degraded by slash-and-burn cultivation, the area was restored through the Doi Tung Development Project, established in 1987 under the initiative of the King’s mother.
Visit Mae Fah Luang Garden, built in 1992 on a 12-rai plot, home to winter flowers and decorative plants that bloom in rotation through the seasons.
Continue to the Royal Villa of the late Princess Mother, a striking combination of northern Thai and Swiss chalet architecture. Afterwards, return to your hotel.
