Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel lobby and depart to Mae Sai Town, on the Thailand-Myanmar border and Thailand’s northernmost point, where you can browse local products from China and Myanmar.
Continue to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. See the Golden Buddha statue and take in panoramic views of the Mekong River, then visit the Opium Museum, which tells the story of opium production in the Golden Triangle.
Visit the archaeological remains of Chiang Saen, the original capital of the Lanna Kingdom, founded around 1328. Afterwards, return to your hotel.
