Pick up from your hotel lobby and depart to the Mae Kok River boat landing for a one-hour longtail boat cruise along the river.

Visit a Karen Hill Tribe Village set along the riverbank, where tribesmen traditionally raise and tame elephants for jungle work. The settlement’s bamboo houses stand on stilts above farm animals such as pigs, chickens, and buffalo; the village women, dressed in sarongs, white shirts, and headscarves, are skilled in sewing and fabric dyeing. Afterwards, return to your hotel.
